Bethel Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 3-11 Araganei, Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan; President and CEO: Junichi Suzuki) is pleased to announce that, on August 19, 2026, the company declared "★★ Two Stars" under the "SECURITY ACTION" program promoted by the Innovation Platform Agency, Japan (IPA).
What is SECURITY ACTION?
"SECURITY ACTION" is a self-declaration system established by the IPA to promote information security measures among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
It is a framework in which SMEs voluntarily declare their commitment to information security measures, based on the following two-tier standard.
- ★ One Star: Declaration of commitment to the "5 Information Security Rules"
- ★★ Two Stars: Declaration after formulating and publicly disclosing an "Information Security Basic Policy"
Background of the Declaration
Our company has continuously worked to strengthen its internal information security framework. Through organizational efforts such as conducting information security literacy training for all employees and formulating and publishing an Information Security Basic Policy, we have now reached the point of declaring "★★ Two Stars."
